Beechwood has opportunities for subsitutes for teachers, secretaries, and instructional aides.  To be a teacher (certified) substitute you must have at least 64 hours of college credit.  If you do not hold a current, up-to-date Kentucky teaching certificate, you will need to apply for emergency certification from EPSB. 

To sub for secretaries and instructional aides (classified), you must have a high school diploma or GED.

If accepted to be a substittue at Beechwood, you will need to be fingerprinted for a background check and a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services for a child neglect/abuse check.  Additional paperwork will be required.  The additional paperwork is located on our website under Employees>Employment>Substitutes.  

Before you can apply for emergency certification, we will need the results of your fingerprints.
